Why need Anti Carburizing
- If there is finishing machining in the post-process, carburized item is too hard to scrape.
- At the welding process, large amount of carbon makes crack.
- The carburized part is vulnerable to impact. It prevents the screw thread from being damaged
Mechanism of Carburizing
- Carbon is added on the surface, then quenching Metal surface become harden.
(inside remain toughness)
Mechanism of carburizing inhibitor
- Cover the metal surface and prevent curburizing
CARBON-KILLER No.2
- Viscosity:10~300dPa・s(Dilute with a special diluent)
- Coating thickness :Approx.0.3~1.0mmDrying time :more than 4 hours
- Removal:Washing in hot water(dipping, shower, etc.)
- Advantage:Short Drying time, good workability
- Disadvantage:Necessary to consider the work environment by using an organic solvent(Local exhaust system, etc.)
CARBON-KILLER No.3
- Viscosity:15~45dPa・sCoating thickness :Approx.0.3mm
- Drying time :More than 6 hours
- Removal:Shootbrust
- Advantage: small amount of apply, low cost and water solubility
- Disadvantage:not good peelabilty, need shootbrust
CARBON-KILLER No.4
- Viscosity:40~80dPa・s
- Coating thickness :Approx.1.0mm
- Drying time:More than 8 hours
- Removal:Washing in hot water(dipping, shower, etc.)
- Advantage:Water-soluble and can be removed by washing with hot water
- Disadvantage:Need thick film thickness, it takes a long time to dry
